PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Dirigo Place Program, located in Lewiston, Maine, is a transitional living facility for youth returning from psychiatric hopitalization or transitioning from a more restrictive setting to a less restrictive setting. Services include assessment and treatment planning, intensive family services and counseling, fully licensed and approved special education instruction for middle and high school curricula, and aftercare. The Program also offers a 24-hour emergency respite and crisis stabilization bed that is often used for hospital diversion.
