Chief Administrative Officer

Kati Sweeney is an accomplished human services executive with over 25 years of dedicated field experience. She currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at the North American Family Institute, providing strategic oversight and executive leadership to five essential agency operations. In this role, Kathryn guides the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Human Resources, and the Director of Risk and Insurance to maintain robust compliance, fiscal health, and corporate stability. She also directs the agency’s technical evolution via the Director of Business Applications and manages corporate communication through the Communications Manager, utilizing her extensive blend of financial discipline, healthcare compliance, and cross-functional leadership to propel agency-wide agility.

 

Before stepping into her role as CAO, Kati built a formidable career driving operations and program expansions across Massachusetts. She formerly served as the Director of Adult and Outpatient Services at NFI Massachusetts and spent years as an Area Director for the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, ensuring the delivery of vocational rehabilitation services and providing contractual oversight. Additionally, her tenure as Chief Operations Officer at CLASS, Inc. yielded a $2 million revenue surge and the successful negotiation of complex union contracts. Kati holds a Master of Business Administration from Endicott College and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Colby-Sawyer College.
